Spectra Max Black complements Spectra Max Color. It is similar in composition to Spectra High-Strength Black but includes additional components to enhance its high-density appearance. The true "Max" black appearance of this ink should be of interest to printers seeking a premium black ink product.
Spectra Max is designed to allow newspapers to use even less ink while increasing quality further with better print contrast and traps and reduced page-to-page setoff. As a set, the Spectra Max inks are 52% stronger than NAA's AdLitho inks.
